Spring is officially doing its Park City thing—sunshine one minute, cold the next. But no matter the forecast, May is packed with reasons to get out and enjoy the good life. Patio season is creeping in, trails are drying out, and local happenings are heating up. Whether you’re celebrating mom, kicking off summer, or just looking for an excuse to sip something outdoors—there’s something for everyone this month. As always, here are this month’s things to do!
Here’s to the Good Life!

CELEBRATE MOM
While The Foundry at Sundance is always my go-to spot to celebrate or be celebrated, Park City has plenty of ways to treat Mom this Mother’s Day—think brunch at Riverhorse, buffets at Montage, or a chic meal at the new Le Depot.
BALLERINA FARM
Ballerina Farm’s new Farm Stand in Kamas is now open. You can get their raw milk, the BEST bacon, and frozen baked goods (I love the croissants). Simple. Local. Delicious. Also, adorable.
UTAH MAMMOTHS
The Utah Hockey Club is now officially the Utah Mammoth—an NHL team with a fan-chosen name that nods to the state’s ancient past and bold future. I think the logo is good, you?!
FARMERS MARKET
The Park City Farmers Market returns for the 2025 season starting May 28, and runs weekly through October 22. You can visit every Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the First Time Chair Lift Parking Lot at Park City Mountain Resort. Yay, summer is coming!
TULIP FESTIVAL
Now through May 17, 900,000 tulips are in full bloom across 50 acres at Ashton Gardens. With live music, classes, and bold new blooms like Purple Raven, it’s more than a walk through the garden—it’s a full spring experience. Totally worth the drive.
TOUR DE SUDS
While I can’t handle a 2,200-foot climb, but for those who can, the Tour des Suds is a blast. This 7-mile mountain bike race starts at City Park and ends at Empire Pass, featuring costumes, post-race festivities, and plenty of fun. Registration is now open!
GET YOUR SAVOR SEAT
Utah’s biggest outdoor dinner party returns on June 18! The Park City Restaurant Association is already confirming participating restaurants for this year’s Savor the Summit. To join in on the celebration, make your reservation directly with a participating restaurant!
FREE PARKING
From live shows at The Egyptian to delicious food, art galleries, and shopping, Historic Park City comes alive in the spring. It’s the perfect time to head to Main Street. With smaller crowds and FREE parking available until June 29 (excluding special events), you can make the most of the season!
