Spring was in the air, but now it’s not! Hopefully, it will be back soon! March in Park City means spring skiing, bluebird days, and the is-it-winter-or-is-it-spring guessing game. Either way, the mountains are calling, the après is flowing, and there’s plenty to enjoy both on and off the slopes. As always, here’s what’s good this month.
Here’s to the Good Life!
Kerri
Red, White & Snow is March 5-8, while a lot of the events are sold out, there are still a few spots you can grab! This is always an unforgettable weekend of fine wine, gourmet dining, and giving back to the National Ability Center.
MUSIC IS IN THE AIR
The Spring Concert Series at Canyons Village kicks off on March 8, join for live music every Saturday through closing day! This always feels like the quintessential close to a spring ski day.
UP NEXT: TASTE OF LUXURY
Join the next Deer Valley culinary experience featuring Michelin-starred Chef Davide Palluda. Events include a VIP meet & greet reception, followed by a five-course dinner on 3 March 14 & 3/15, and a cooking class, followed by lunch with wine pairings on March 16.
OOH LA LA!
I have not made it to the new French bakery on Main Street, but as a love of all pastries it’s on my immediate list! I’ve heard good things about Union Patisserie, the sister cafe next to the new Le Depot.
Full disclosure: I saw this on Instagram, but from a trusted culinary source. Frisky Fresh Fish offers super fresh Alaskan fish (you may have seen them at a farmers’ market). They’re located in SLC, but you can sign up with Dan for delivery in Park City
THE DAINTY PEAR
Cute shop alert! The Dainty Pear has officially opened its doors, and it’s so good. Imagine European elegance meets Midway’s cozy charm-perfect for hosts and gift-givers alike. From custom Dainty Pear goods to unique décor, local cheeses, and hand-picked Italian oils. It’s delightful! Go check it out—152 W 100 N, Midway.
The Fourth of July Oakley Rodeo tickets are a hot item! I’ve seen LINES up people for the presale, but their website is saying internet sales will begin March 17. Also, if you don’t score tickets, they do release same day tickets, a bunch of friends were able to go last year that way!
HIGH WEST WHISKEY LOUNGE
High West Distillery is partnering with Deer Valley Resort for a three-day pop-up whiskey lounge that will serve skiers mid-mountain! Enjoy après-ski with craft cocktails, live music, and giveaways at High West’s Silver Saloon Airstream pop-up at Deer Valley’s Silver Lake Village, March 18-20, 11:30 AM–4 PM.
GOOD FOOD
From the owners of the beloved Five5eeds comes a fresh new dining concept—sourdough pizza, share plates, and an incredible selection of wine and craft cocktails. It’s right next door to its sister restaurant, and I have a feeling this will quickly become a local favorite. I got a sneak peek of the pizza over the weekend, and IT. IS. GOOD. It is light, fresh, and clearly made with thought and love. The shared plates are super interesting. They also have unique craft cocktails and a small wine list, with new wines coming soon. Get the sourdough flatbread and stracciatella to start! Reservations start on March 7 and are already filling up, FAST go grab one now on Resy! From now until Friday, it’s walk-in only. This is going to be a good one!
