Winter is officially here in the Wasatch Back, and it’s already shaping up to be another spectacular season! Our local resorts are open and off to a great start, with solid snow depths thanks to early storms and more snow in the forecast.
The 2024-2025 winter season is packed with exciting events and beloved traditions that make Park City such a special place this time of year. From festive celebrations to outdoor adventures, this newsletter has everything you need to make the most of the coming weeks and months.

Thanksgiving week delivered a nice round of snow here in northern Utah, helping jumpstart the winter season at our local resorts. Park City, Deer Valley, and Woodward are all now open, as are most other resorts in Utah. See below for more info on the latest conditions.

While ongoing construction at Temple Square has reduced the scale of this year’s display, visitors can still enjoy a variety of Christmas-themed activities.
OGDEN’S CHRISTMAS VILLAGE

Downtown Ogden transforms into a festive Christmas Village, illuminating the area with a stunning display. Marvel at detailed replicas of iconic Ogden buildings, all adorned in holiday decor. SANTA’S MAILBOX

Park City has made special arrangements for Main Street to be a drop-off site for letters to Santa Claus! Drop off your letters to Santa’s Mailbox by December 22nd to make sure all wishes get to the North Pole on time. Santa’s Mailbox is located at the top of Main Street on the snow globe route.
