2024 Fourth of July Celebrations

Here’s where you can celebrate on the July 4th weekend with fireworks, parades, live music, carnivals and a couple of rodeos!

Wednesday-Saturday, July 3-6 • Park City • Forum Fest, Canyon Village at Park City Mountain, 4000 Canyons Resort Road. Each day: Family activities and cornhole tournament starting at 4 p.m., ice cream social at 6 p.m. Concerts at 4 p.m. (Forum Stage), 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. (Mountain Stage) — Wednesday: MuddPuddle at 4 p.m., Six One Five Collective at 6 p.m., Metro Music Club at 8 p.m.; Thursday: The Pickpockets at 4 p.m.; Silver King at 6 p.m., Aiko at 8 p.m.; Friday: Fat Paw at 4 p.m.; Jordan Matthew Young at 6 p.m.; Jontavious Willis Band at 8 p.m.; Saturday: Carver Lewis at 4 p.m., Ethan Tucker at 6 p.m., Tim Snider at 8 p.m. Aerial displays at 10:20 p.m. each night — fireworks on Wednesday, fireworks and drones on Thursday, drone shows on Friday and Saturday — with pre-show at 9:45 p.m. Free.

Wednesday-Saturday, July 3-6 • Oakley • Independence Day Celebration. Oakley PRCA runs Wednesday through Saturday, 7:30 p.m. (gates open at 6 p.m.) at Oakley Outdoor Arena, with fireworks to follow each night. Thursday: Kids fun run and 5K at 7 a.m.; parade along State Road 32 and Center Street, starting at 10 a.m.; patriotic program at 11:30 a.m. at Oakley Red Barn; food trucks all day at Oakley Recreation Complex; junior rodeo and kids activities starting at 1 p.m. at Oakley Outdoor Arena. Rodeo tickets are $30, at OakleyCity.com; the parade and patriotic program are free.

Thursday, July 4 • Park City • Fourth of July festivities, starting with a pancake breakfast at 7 a.m., a fun run at 8 a.m., a parade down Main Street at 11 a.m., followed by kids’ activities, rugby games, a volleyball tournament, live music and refreshments starting at noon. All events (except the parade) at City Park, 1400 Sullivan Road; free.

Friday-Saturday, July 5-6 • Park City • The Deer Valley Music Festival will present two concerts with the Utah Symphony over the weekend, both starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater at Deer Valley resort, 2250 Deer Valley Drive South. Friday’s show is “Patriotic Pops,” a program of all-American tunes and works by American composers, conducted by Evan Roider and featuring vocalist Lisa Howard. Saturday will bring “Christmas in July,” a program of winter and holiday-themed music (including “The Nutcracker”), conducted by Conner Gray Covington and featuring violinist William Hagen. Thursday, July 4 • Heber City • Red, White, and Blue Festival, with hot air balloons starting at 6:30 a.m.; 5k and 10k fun runs starting at 7 a.m.; biplane flyovers at 7:15 and 8:30 a.m.; flag ceremony and Rotary breakfast at 8 a.m.; patriotic walk at 8:30 a.m.; Heber Valley Railroad running its Freedom Train from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p..m.; events throughout the day; Heber Market on Main from 1 to 9 p.m.; concerts starting at 5 p.m.; fireworks at 10 p.m. Most events at Main Street Park, 250 S. Main; free.

Thursday, July 4 • Midway • Fourth of July activities: Cannon blast at 6 a.m.; patriotic sunrise service at 7 a.m.; pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. ($10 for adults, $5 for children, proceeds going to BSA troop 216); children’s bike parade at 10 a.m.; fireworks over Memorial Hill at 10 p.m. Town Square, 75 S. 100 West; free (except for the breakfast).
